Oct 15th - Midway

Greetings foolish mortals.  Here we are in the middle of the month and while I would normally be excited about tonight, it's Thursday and Knott's Scary Farm would be on my list of places to go, I'm not.  I've gotten used, I guess, to not doing anything this year.  It's been crazy and disappointing all at once.  We'll get through this but hoping it improves.

Oct 1st - Welcome

Welcome foolish mortals...to October.  A shout out to WDW and their 49th birthday.  Even though they're laying off a bunch of workers, hope the year gets better for them and they can rehire all those cast members back.

So not a whole lot is really going on.  We're in October, which is a great time...normally and Fall is here.  Had things been "normal", I would have been enjoying my second week attending Knott's Scary Farm but alas, we have nothing like that this year.  There's a few small thin...

Sep 30th - A Day of Remembering

Greetings foolish mortals.  Here we are at the last day of September.  While tomorrow is the beginning of October and we're in the fanfare of my favorite time of the year, this is always a special day and it's not for a good reason.

30 years ago on this day, I lost one of my best friends and two other friends in a helicopter crash.  I was on my way to the Persian Gulf for Desert Shield later Desert Storm.  Off the coast of Oregon on this night, my roommate Bill "Nick" Nolte was killed in a dua...
