Greetings foolish mortals.  Welcome to June and get ready, big changes are coming very soon.  A lot has happened over the past few weeks.  While I don't publicize the personal life so much, I do mention things that have a direct impact on me.  A few weeks ago, my dad had a stroke that sent him to the hospital and got me on a plane, flying across the country with little notice.  Dad has now been transferred to a rehab facility where he will work on the transition to a new life. 

Kind of related with the above, I am leaving sunny, mega expensive, California and heading back to Florida.  I've been gone since October 14th, 2015.  I am leaving my company where I've been working for over 5 1/2 years.  It's a bittersweet transition but one that I felt was best for me and now for my family.  Looking forward to seeing Florida again and also playing some really nice golf courses, eating some decent food and theme park central in Orlando.  

While I am excited about the move, I am sad to leave California.  I tried since I originally left back in 1998, to get back to Cali.  However, I've been living in Orange County and it just hasn't been the same.  It's so crowded, everything is cemented over and it's crazy expensive.  Since being out here, I've never completely relaxed and felt like I was living here.  I felt more like I was surviving here.  There's so much to see and do here but along with all that is fighting the traffic, crowds and cost to do any of it.  I just don't see how some people are able to make it out here.

So, the BBP is heading back east.  I'm not really looking forward to the humidity and all that stuff but I am looking forward to having thunderstorms again, and enjoying some of that life.
