What an incredible day to say the least. Being so close to so many different places I want to go, I chose to visit Switzerland for the day. Zurich to be more precise. After a nice drive on the autobahn, where I reached speeds of 120 plus mph, and the scenic views and small towns were incredible, I reached the border of Germany and Switzerland. The road I crossed was less heralded than I was expecting but it was still very cool to cross the country lines.
After visiting some smaller towns outside of Zurich, made it into the downtown section and I have to say, this city is amazing. The people seemed very friendly, the views were breathtaking and the sights were awesome. Yes, I've broken down the city into those 3 categories. It was a great time and since I am here for at least a month more, I believe I will have to pay this city another visit and spend even more time exploring.
I took some incredible pictures, have the snow covered Swiss Alps and buildings that have to be hundreds of years old. I'll put them up here with my other travels.
So until the next country finds us...
