November 1st - Welcome to November

Greetings foolish mortals and welcome to November. Amazing how fast October seemed to fly by. Had so many things going on that I totally lost track of time and didn't update the site for the month.
So first off, the BBP started a new job!!! Yay!!! It's a job that he thinks he really is going to enjoy and he knows he'll excel at it because that's the way he is. He takes any task or challenge presented to him and then he makes it his and owns it until he finishes. He's had to overcome a lot of obstacles to get where he's at but he's done it and stood tall.
Can't believe yesterday was Halloween too. I spent many a night at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, enjoying the haunts, the scare zones and the overall theme of the park as well as a few coasters. I know I shouldn't compare but it's hard not to in terms of Knott's Scary Farm and HHN. Knott's, in my opinion, is the premier haunt event in the country. Granted, I haven't been to all of them but the ones I have been to just don't measure up. Knott's has given it's scareactors the freedom to improvise and play to the guests whereas HHN has "canned" sound effects the actors trigger with a button. Kind of takes away from it all. However, I have enjoyed HHN this year and the houses. They had some really good ones and some ok ones. A lot of times it could change and they'd flip but that's the fun of visiting multiple times.
And now it's time to start prepping for the xmas season. I'm looking forward to that, especially at Disney thought we still have 3 weeks of Food and Wine to visit.
Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.
Until next time...
BBP out!!!
