May 9th - Back to the grind

Hello foolish mortals.  Here we are, back on the west coast, the best coast, after an interesting trip back east to Florida.  While I didn't get everything done that I had hoped or planned, I did get a few things accomplished and am happy about that.  I really enjoyed the trip back and seeing all my family and the friends I did manage to see.  However, I have learned I am not a fan of flying.  Such a pain in the ass.  We seriously need a rail system like they have in Europe.  I'd do that all the time, especially a high speed system.  Might take a little longer but I bet it would be fun and scenic.

Back at work and being gone for almost a week piled up.  Busy from the moment I walked in and never stopped until I left.  It's all good though as I'm working on a lot of things.

Looking forward and studying now so it's going to be a bit hectic for the next couple of weeks.

May 1 - Hello May...goodbye April

Hello there.  What a perfect start to the month.  April was finished up with an awesome trip to San Diego.  Toured the U.S.S. Midway and relived a few memories.  Was actually "stuck" on her for a couple days during the Persian Gulf War in 1991.  Saw quite a bit of stuff, many wonderful aircraft with my favorite jet the F-14 Tomcat and of course my all time favorite, the SH-60 Seahawk.  The Seahawk and I go way back and have a lot of fond memories and still have some nightmares with it but the...

April 22 - Happy Earth Day

T.B.I.F!!!  Happy Friday and Happy Earth Day and Happy Birthday AK!!!  Wow, 18 years old for AK and for those who don't know what AK is, it's Animal Kingdom.  I went several years ago for the 15th Anniversary and it was pretty cool.  Now, I'm about 2500 miles away from it.

On the flip side, got some exciting news too that will be occurring very soon.  Those who have a need to know either already do or will very shortly.

April 11 - A new week

April 11, 2016
Good day all.  It's been an interesting day so far.  I hate those Sunday nights where you can't sleep and when you finally do, your alarm goes off during the best sleep you've had after what seems like 5 minutes.  Hope it's not a look into the week or what it's going to be like.

April 5th - Rough month so far...

Wow.  April has been a nasty month for me already.  Been sick the entire time of it so far.  Feeling better today but it's been a rough start to the month.  Just need to rise up and take control again and believe in the power of positive thought and keep the negative out.

April 1st - April Fool

Happy April Fools Day.  We're in April now.  Holy cow.  A quarter of the year is now gone.  Where does the time go?  Seems like only yesterday I was in Germany, traveling Europe and then back to the states and out to California.  It has been a ride.  That's for sure.  A good one too.  I'm with a terrific company, living in SoCal and feeling good.  Looking forward and not back.  That's the motto.

March 24th - Almost

March 25, 2016
This week has really flown by.  Been busy all week and it's been a bit of a pain at times but things are again steady.  Looking forward to a relaxing weekend...maybe.  I'm in need of some downtime but who knows what could happen?  I may hit a theme park or do something else.  It's hard for me to just stay inside and relax when there's so much to do and see here.

Mar 20th - Mission complete

Wow is all I can say.  After leaving the gym yesterday, I decided I was going to take an unplanned trip to Viva Las Vegas.  No hotel plans, no plans at all so I grabbed a bag and off I went.  LA traffic was horrible and held me up for a couple of hours.  Once I got out of LA county, all was good and off I flew.  I got to Las Vegas around 8 and parked in Planet Hollywood and off I went.  It's been 15 years since I'd been here and so much of it has changed.  The strip is amazing with massive ho...

Mar 15th - The middle of the month

March 15, 2016
It's the middle of March and it doesn't seem to be slowing down.  Been running around, crazy busy and all but that's good.  Though I wish time would slow down when I'm not busy.  Seems like it should especially when it flies by the other times.  Not to mention now with the time change screwing everything up.

Got a few things planed to get done by the end of the month.  Hoping I'll be able to.  Just have a lot with new title at work and making sure things run smooth.
