1/4 - Happy New Year!!!

We are officially full swing into 2016 and I have to say that it has started off very well.  I am happy, feeling good and very hopeful as we continue forward.

Back to my first day at work and enjoying the pace of trying to get some things done.Looking forward to this year and keeping positive.

12/31 - Farewell 2015

December 31, 2015
Here we are, only about 14 hours away from the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016.  I have to say, this has been a rather interesting year.  I once again left the country to go live, work and explore in Germany and Europe.  Saw many fascinating places while I was there and experienced so much more.  Many new countries and towns.  I also met a lot of new people and welcomed some more into my life and spent time with family and loved ones.  There was also the passing of my grandfather who ha...

12/22 - Winter is here

December 22, 2015
Brrr...so cold here.  Actually, it's a beautiful day here.  60 degrees and it's raining.  We really need it too.  In case you haven't heard, CA is in a major drought.  

A few more days before Christmas.  Gonna have a nice long weekend to enjoy it and maybe do some things.  There's snow up in the mountains so might go up there.  

Starting up a new workout routine and eating so I can take care of a few things, mainly health wise but got some goals I'm shooting for.  ;-)

12/15 - Halfway through

December 15, 2015
I swear I keep saying I'm going to update this more often but I guess it's just the stress of having to work just so I can do my thing.  I know, there's always time out there but at times, I just don't feel like doing this.  I wish I was able to do this and travel and visit places like I've seen on other sites but I should have been looking forward more.

11/30 - The end of November

November 30, 2015
Well this was a long week.  After getting the news my grandfather passed away, kind of made this week a long one.  I ended up working the whole week and then some more on Saturday.  Have been dealing with stubborn servers but I'm hoping that I've gotten the issue taken care of and things should be on their merry way.  Fingers crossed.

The weather out here has been beautiful and I can't wait to further enjoy it.  Looks like we got our first snowfall up in the mountains too.

11/24 - Goodbye

November 24, 2015

The end of a generation has occurred this morning at 7:35. My grandfather, who recently turned 100, left this world. While I was never as close to him as I was grandmother, his loss shall be felt and I hope my parents, especially my father, have a chance to reflect and know that they did more for him than anyone else. Goodbye grandpa.

11/23 - Thanksgiving week

11/2 - Welcome to November

Greetings all you foolish mortals!  We have survived another Halloween season and this year was quite interesting.  I managed to go to 3 "haunts" this year.  The first one was Horror Nights at Europa Park.  The second one was Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa and the final one was Knott's Scary Farm at Knott's Berry Farm.  They were all different and unique in their ways and designs.  I attempted to try to visit the Queen Mary Haunted Harbor but it was so crowded that I couldn't even get o...

10/29 Just about 2 weeks

Here we are coming up to the end of the 2nd week of being out here in California and it's been great with the job and all I've been given, but it's also been stressful trying to find a place to live.  I've looked at numerous places and found a few but when I call them, they don't have anything.  Why then do they advertise if they don't have anything available?  Just wasting my time but they won't refuse if you want to fill out an application and spend money only to find out if they don't have...
