Jan 29th - Moving along nicely

January 29, 2015
Hello from the less hot state of Florida.  While a lot of people will complain about the cold, and I've been hearing it, I love this weather and prefer it to the hot, humid weather we'll be seeing soon.  Had a great weekend and this week is flying along at a nice pace.  Looking forward to this weekend as well.  Have some fun plans set aside and see what will happen. 

OK, so moving on and loving life.  It does always get better from where you were before.  It may not always last but keeping the positive mindset and vibes helps.

Jan 21 - National Hug Day!!!

January 21, 2015
Happy Hump Day and also National Hug Day.  Middle of the week and it's rolling on and got lots of positive vibe.  I'm enjoying this weather and really enjoying feeling better so this weekend is most definitely going to be a visit to my magical place.  

On the job side of things, got my office moved to a new location and after the initial "things not moved or just total craziness and nothing works" time frame, looks like things have settled down now and beginning to roll smooth.

Jan 17th - Feeling better

Greetings.  So, it's been a week or so since I've been run down but finally feeling better.  Was actually going to reward myself by going to my favorite place, but I was "advised" not to go since I'm just feeling better and don't need a relapse.  Very true words so I'm hanging out local.  Besides, I forgot it's a holiday weekend so the place would be jammed.

Jan 8th - Florida does it again

So Florida has again laid claim to why we're so messed up. The so called "father" of the 5 year old who throws her off the bridge to her death and runs. Glad they caught him but now there's going to be the whole process of his "troubled" childhood and how he deserves leniency.

Yeah, so this is again my question for all my religious folks out there. Tell me again that God exists and allows things like this to happen. And I don't want to hear he needed another angel. So here's my borrowed...

Dec 31st - 2014 - A look back

Here we are.  On the cusp of another year and it's time to look back at this past year and reflect.  It's been a rather quick year in terms of how fast this one went.  I know it's said that as you get older, time goes by faster and I'm truly believing that.

Dec 15th - FtVA

    OK, I am officially fed up with our VA system. I logged a claim 3 months ago and logged in again today to check on the status. Surprise, surprise when I see it's been waiting for an input from me for the past 3 months. I know I went through the whole process of submitting it and now I had to re-submit it again. WTF is up with this? I swear, if Congress and all our politicians had to deal with the VA instead of their healthcare, it would be fixed yesterday!!! Great way to treat those who...

Dec 11th - Day 4 into the journey

December 11, 2014
Greetings all.  We're moving forward with everything and it is so nice to see things with a different perspective.  Things are good and the season is keeping us busy.  Got plans to hit the parks some more and check them out.  Such a beautiful time of the year.

On the other hand, got things going well with the business side of the world.  Changes ahead and looking forward to more positivity. 

The mind is positive and the body is too.  Keeping it healthy and active.
