Dec 15th - Almost done

Well hello there.  We're halfway through the month and almost done with 2013.  We are also right in the middle of the Xmas season and just a week and a half away from Xmas itself.  I can't believe the year is almost over.  Seems to have just flown by and now 2014 is just around the corner.

Not sure how I feel about the year almost done.  A bit amazed, saddened but also excited.  A New Year is just about here and with it comes the opportunities for new things.  I've got a few things I'm looking at and can't wait to get them going.

Dec 1st - And we're off!!!

Hello there December.  Nice to see you.  Well, after a pleasant Thanksgiving with family and friends and then Black Friday, we are officially in full swing for the Christmas Season.  It's going to be a little shorter than normal as Thanksgiving was later in the month.  Nice to see the decorations out and the music playing.  Gotta head up to my favorite place and thoroughly check out the parks and resorts.  There's actually a nice little nip in the air too.  Yay!!!

Nov 16th - Been away too long

November 17, 2013
I know, I know.  I have been slacking.  I always say I'm going to work this site and get it better and bigger but I haven't.  Been pretty lazy actually about it.  Had a lot of things going on, some good, some bad and it occupied my time.  But here we are on another day, right in the middle of the best time of year.  Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away and then the "real" holiday season starts, even though it's been here for a month at least.

October 23rd - WOW

October 23, 2013
OK, so this month I've been pretty much slacking off on this.  There's been so much going on this month and it's got me wore out. 
Took the Z to Halloween Horror Nights and had a great time.  We hit 4 of the mazes and they were pretty good.  Evil Dead being the best.  We also managed to ride all the rides at least twice so it was a good night. 
Getting things in order and life in shape. 
Going to Howl-O-Scream too.

Oct 2nd - Moving along

So hello October.  Wow!  I can't believe we're moving along so fast.  Yesterday was WDW's 41st birthday. Looking forward to taking the Z to Howloscream and also visiting HHN.  Gonna be a good month.  Got some other things to do as well so look out world!

Sep 8th - Still a special day

September 9, 2013
While it's almost over, today, September 8th, is still a special day in my life.  27 years ago, I left home as an 18 year old kid to join the U.S. Navy.  Twelve years later, I started down the path of my current life where I began my second stint in college and owned it all since then.  While I haven't had any tremendous events really take place on this day since then, I can fondly look back and remember where a lot of things in my life started.

Sep 1 - Hello September

September 1, 2013
Wow!!!  September is here.  August is now history.  The season is almost here.  Epcot Food and Wine Festival starts in a few weeks.  Howl-O-Scream and Halloween Horror Nights is right around the corner too.  There is some exciting stuff coming up.  I can't wait. 

Life is going good too.  Feeling a lot better and the positive outlook is strong and kicking.

August 12th - Happy Birthday

August 13, 2013
A few things going on today.  A year ago, after being away for over a year, my feet touched American soil again as I returned from Iraq.  It was a really good day and memorable. 

And today is another great day.  Not only is it my birthday, but it's also the beginning of some new things in life, happiness and positive outlook.  Many adventures are ahead and I'm looking forward to them. 

Robin and Brody have done well.

August 6th - One year ago

August 6, 2013
One year ago today, I left Iraq for good after being there for one year.  Went through numerous rocket attacks, moved 3 times to 3 different bases but finally got out of there on this date.  It was a very happy time as I began a long journey back home.  Even though things didn't turn out the way I had envisioned, I am a lot happier and in a much better place.  Nice to have known you FU3.

August 2nd - Welcome August

Wow!  The time has been flying.  I just completed my first month at the new company and have to say, it's the best!!!  I'm learning new things, working with good people and working for a great company!  They know how to treat their people.
