Greetings foolish mortals. Wow. Today, 8 years ago, found me with my second, brick red, Nissan Frontier Crew Cab truck. Loved that truck and only chose to sell it to assist others. Also a date that lives in my memory as I also went out later that night to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino with a friend and won a few hundred dollars. Ah...the good times.
So here we are, at the end of April and it looks like things are opening up and life is starting tor resemble a little bit of what it used to be before this pandemic hit. Out here, we already have Six Flags Magic Mountain open, Disneyland is opening Friday and Universal Studios Hollywood is already opening and next month Knotts Berry Farm is opening. I'm hoping that we'll see the Halloween haunts open up this year too.
So we, the BBP, is getting our second vaccination tomorrow as well and is prepared for the worst but hoping for the best. Once that is done, we will be doing a lot more than before.
So until the next time or the flip side of 2nd vaccine...

Welcome foolish mortals...to April. Better late than never eh!!! Just been a crazy first week in April and the end of March. Got my first vaccinate and of all places, at Disneyland. April Fool's Day came and went as did this past weekend.
Hope everyone is being safe and smart out there. Lots going on so we're just gonna cut this one short.

Welcome foolish mortals and top of the morning to ya!!! Happy St. Patrick's Day. Hope you toast up a Guinness in light of this holiday.
Seems forever, but 10 years ago, the BBP was in Dublin, Ireland celebrating. Was quite possibly some of the most fun times and memories I've had in a long time. The streets and pubs were all crowded with partiers and much Guinness was consumed in a span of 3 days. It was a much needed and welcomed trip from Afghanistan.

Greetings foolish mortals. I know. It's been 28 days since I last edited this or added anything. It's hard at times to just break away and wrote down my thoughts or the on goings throughout the days, weeks and month. I've been so busy dealing with other things that I just lose track of this site at times. I'll get reminders occasionally and think, I need to update, but then get distracted by something else.

Welcome foolish mortals...to December. I know I didn't update last month. Was so busy with so many things that I never really got to do much else then work.
Hopefully everybody had a nice Thanksgiving and had a little break too last week. I was able to rest and relax a little.
Not sure how I feel about the holidays this year. It's nice that they're here and maybe give a little diversion from the rest of this chaos going on but we shall see.

Welcome foolish mortals...to November. Well, last night was Halloween and while I drove around and saw a few people out trick or treating, it was mostly a quiet, empty night. I didn't do anything special as I would have normally would have been at Knott's Scary Farm. I did decorate my office and had it looking pretty good. Other than that, I really didn't recognize this year.
